Bring a tired drive back without starting again
Not every drive needs digging out. If the base is sound, a faded tarmac drive can be re-coloured, a mossy block paved drive can be cleaned, repaired and re-sanded, and a dull imprinted drive can be cleaned and resealed.
On block paving we pressure clean, lift and replace cracked blocks, pull out weeds and moss, re-sand every joint with kiln-dried sand and apply a sealer that locks the sand in and holds back weeds. On tarmac and imprinted concrete we clean, treat oil marks and apply a coloured sealer.
If we find the base has failed, with dips, cracks running right through or water pooling, we tell you straight, show you why, and quote for a new drive instead. Resurfacing is only worth doing on a drive that is sound underneath.

- Assess. Check the base and tell you whether resurfacing will last.
- Clean. Pressure clean and remove weeds, moss and oil.
- Repair. Replace cracked blocks and fix sunken areas.
- Re-sand. Brush kiln-dried sand into every joint.
- Seal. Apply sealer or colour coat.
- Cure. Leave it to cure before cars go back on.

Can you re-colour a red tarmac drive?
Yes. Red and black tarmac can both be re-coloured and sealed if the surface is sound.
How often should block paving be sealed?
Every few years keeps the joints tight and the colour strong. We tell you what your drive needs.
Will resurfacing fix a drive that has sunk?
Small sunken areas of block paving can be lifted and relaid. If the base has failed across the drive, a new drive is the right fix.
Do you clean patios as well?
Yes. Patios, paths and steps can be cleaned, re-pointed and sealed.
Is there a charge for the quote?
